I have always promoted using multiple methods to build your network marketing business. Use your warm market, MLM leads, pay per click, offline advertising, direct mail, etc. There is a new kid on the block in regards to marketing your business, and it is called social networking. I'm sure you've heard of social networking sites... it's MySpace, YouTube, etc.

But, until now, none of them have been set up to be true marketing powerhouses. That is because one of the master marketers of our time, Seth Godin

(look for his books at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Borders, etc,), has put together a social networking site called Squidoo. It is red HOT! I have set up my own Squidoo Site, called a lens. I will show you my site in just a bit.

Here is my belief — if you want to expand how you do business, compliment what you are doing already with leads, then you MUST step into the year 2007 and start a social networking site, specifically with Squidoo. It is known around the Internet world as "Web 2.0" — and it's time you got into it!

How Does Social Networking Help Me?

I don't understand all of the reasons why everything happens, I just know that websites that are connected to or involved in social networking and Web 2.0 find themselves at the top of the search engines. My site went from page 31 on Google to page 1 in a couple of weeks.

If you go to Google and type in "MLM Leads" you will see I am creeping up the page. I may slip back to page 2, but it is brief and I am working my way to the #1 position. While I may not be able to explain it all, my new friend Tiffany Dow can explain how social networking, specifically Squidoo, can help your business.

How Do You Do Squidoo?

That's another good question. And the answer is... "easy."

I've said before in many places... I love MLM leads, and I believe leads should be your #1 tool for building your business. But I also believe that branching out your marketing efforts is just plain smart.

It's like the old fishing analogy... fisherman #1, with 2 lines in the water, will catch more fish than fisherman #2, with only one line in the water. There may be days when fisherman #2 catches more, but over time, fisherman #1 will have the bigger catch... in other words, recruit more, have the bigger business, and have the stronger business, and quite likely, have the bigger fish too.

I'm not going to recommend something I have invested in and am using myself. I'm blogging and I'm social networking now. And, let me tell you, it's been a lot of fun!
