Recycling (re-using) Your MLM Leads

by Rich Niccolls
As you know, we are a leads company, and we earn a living when people come and buy leads. However, if you have ordered leads in the last 2 - 6 weeks, I want to give you some advice in not buying a new batch of leads... at least not yet.

I'm talking about saving your money and pulling out some of your older leads and recycling them into use again. Let me tell you why.

I receive numerous phone calls and emails from customers and friends who say they are receiving some decent results from leads that are 30 days old. They are taking some of the fresh or real time leads they bought from us and enrolling people off of those lists 30 days later.

First, if you bought a batch of 100 real time leads, you've not only invested about $150 - $200, but you may have been frustrated by the fact that you were never able to reach some of these people on the phone.

Many people say that the people they weren't able to reach, after 30 days, they are now able to reach them.

Second, I am sure you have heard a prospect complain that they have already received several phone calls, and they don't want to talk to you.

Those same people are now open because the phone calls have stopped, no one is calling them, and now they are open to talk.

Third, many networkers do not follow up... leaving the prospect hanging. They are still looking, and when you contact them they are very open because of your persistance and willingness to still work with them.

There are more reasons, but you get the idea. I am thinking of two individuals in particular, Andy from Oregon and Matt from Georgia. Both of these guys tell me on a regular basis the people they are sponsoring simply by using recycled leads.

Now I still believe you need to work new leads - but don't neglect the leads you have bought in the recent past. In my opinion, the leads you purchase are not a "one-time-only-use" product. Put them on the shelf, and bring them back out after a couple weeks.

Now, I am serious when I say this. I want your success almost as much as you. I know soon enough you're going to need to buy new leads, and I'll be here when you're ready. But, put your credit card away and pull out some of those older leads instead... and see if you can find a gem in there.

I realize that some bad leads do not all of the sudden become good leads when they are 30+ days old, but if you bought them from a respectible company, it is worth your time and effort to recycle them.... and if nothing else give them to your team members to use.
