Big, Big News Beginning This Week

Today is April 5th, and starting this week there are big changes coming to National Leads – BIG!

For 7 years now we have been offering all kinds of home business leads for networkers and MLMers to use to grow their businesses.  We have had two main categories of leads – phone leads and email leads.

Beginning this week, all of our email leads are migrating over to our sister-site, ProEmailLeads.com.  They will be the same leads, same prices, same quality, same everything.  Nothing will have changed except where you can buy them.  All of our phone leads will stay right here at National-Leads.com.

This is for a few reasons:

1. To simplify things. We don’t want to be like Walmart where you can go get your tires changed, buy your groceries, get a prescription filled, and buy the latest summer fashions (cough-cough).  We would rather simplify things where you go one place for one thing, remove some of the confusion about too many lead choices, etc.
2. To specialize things.  This goes back to my Walmart analogy.  It may work for them, but for us, it’s hard to focus when there are multiple things to focus on.  By separating our phone leads and email leads on two separate sites, we can offer specialized customer service and sales support for you and your team on each site. This means cusotmer service can get very good at helping you with exactly what you need.
3. To sell the leads for what they are supposed to do.  This mostly applies to our email leads.  We get a few people every month who buy email leads to call them on the phone.  While in theory this sounds like a good idea, that is not what they are intended for. Yes you can recruit off an email list, but that is not the purpose of that lead and you would be MUCH, MUCH better off with your time and money to use our cheaper survey leads than to use an email list.  Phone leads are for calling.  Email leads are for emailing.  Period.

One other cool thing is that Pro Email Leads has a leads affiliate program.  It pays up to 30% on two levels.  It is a great way to make some extra income, and we lowered the payout so you can get paid more often.

So, look for some new videos on National Leads coming this week as we take all of our email leads and move them over to Pro Email Leads, and look for much more specialized service for all of your phone leads here at National Leads!

The Open Door

Over 90% of the email leads we offer at National Leads are not available for purchase on our regular website.  They are reserved for a “semi-private” area known as our monthly lead feed.  In 2010, we are going to open the door for new members for just 3 days.

If you are new to email marketing, let me give you the basics of what I consider an effective way to build your business. 

Many people just dump a bunch of email leads into an autoresponder and send them straight to their business opportunity website.  That is okay, but I don’t believe that is the most effective way to do it, especially for the long term.  Here is what I suggest.

1. Use an email sender, like JmailerPro (see more about it here), to send out your leads.
2. Drive the traffic to your personal home business landing page (aka MLM Squeeze Page)
3. Capture your prospect’s information on the landing page using Aweber.
4. Then, send a series of highly targeted messages to this qualified prospect using Aweber as your autoresponder.

The reason I like doing things this way is that #1 you are building your own list of personally generated leads, #2 you can send out an email at any time to this qualified list of prospects in case your company has some special promotion, new product, or you are making a special recruiting push, and #3 if you would ever change companies, or begin working with a new company, you already have your own list of people to market to.

That is what I would do. To me, it makes the most sense for the long term.
