Forced Matrix Downlines - How To Make Them Work

A forced matrix has the potential to be very luctrictive when building a multilevel or network marekting business. A forced matrix has a fixed number of slots wide, by a fixed number of slots deep. For example, a popular forced matrix is 3x5. That means, you can have a maximum of 3 distributors on your first level. When the fourth person is brought into your downline, they are "forced" to the next level. Each of those first level distributors would have 3 people under them, giving you 9 people on your second level, 27 on your third level, 81 on your fourth level, and 243 on your fifth level. When your matrix is full, you would have 363 people in your downline.

A forced matrix will ONLY work if everyone does their part... or at least one-third of the people do their work. The downside to a forced matrix is that people can get lazy and wait and expect the people above them to place people below them. When that doesn't happen, they tend to quit too early. So, the key factor is getting at least one-third of your distributors recruiting at least one person per month. That keeps them in the game, and will ultimately begin forcing people downline (where the bigger money is) in a short time.

One of the better types of leads you can use for a forced matrix are genealogy leads - people who have previous experience in network marketing, who, could quite possibly bring over two or three other distributors with them. Experience networkers, whether they were successful or not in the past, understand the language of "downlines," "recruiting," "matrix," etc. And, they can see the advantage of the forced matrix.

Another real good option is to get your team using MLM Postcard Leads. It is a cheap and still proven way to build your forced matrix business. It is probably the most duplicatable way to build a business. Anyone can put a stamp on a postcard and stick it in the mail. I have seen some of the biggest businesses built in the last 5 years through postcard mailing.

So, look for a forced matrix as an alternative type of downline building if you are looking for a new type of business to start.
