Many people are now using free ebooks to promote their business. Sometimes those free ebooks are aimed at turning the reader into a customer, and in some instances to turn the reader into a buyer of an affiliate product.
But whatever the reason you are writing a Free Ebook, there are three things you should include:
1. Resource Page
Let us say your report is about fishing, and aimed at convincing the report reader to subscribe to your membership site on fishing tips. Here are some things you can include on your Resources Section:
* Other sources that your reader might find useful
* Other reports or ebooks that your reader might find useful
* Details to some of the best newsletters on fishing
* Links to online bookstores for books or DVDs on fishing
And so on. And of course, any of these could be your products, affiliate products, or just normal links to normal sites.
If your report is rebrandable, you might even include details of the rebranding software that you're using, with your affiliate link on it.
2. Free Section
Tell your reader about other free stuff they can get from you. These could be in return for registering for your subscriber list. In fact, your Free Ebook can be a great way to build your subscriber list.
Again, these free stuff might include affiliate links or links to your own products. They might also be viral tools to increase traffic to your site, such as rebrandable report.
3. A "work in progress" Section
Do you have other sites that are perhaps not related to fishing? Grab this opportunity to inform other people about these websites that are in development. Tell them about it, some of your readers might be interested.
If you have products that you wish to promote like a fishing DVD set to complement your membership site, write a little bit about it, and point readers to a lead-capture page for that product.
This can also be a great way of getting information, in case you are interested in surveying readers of the report - tell them about the survey so that you can get some more feedback.
And, those are the three things you can include in your Free Report to help further promote yourself, your business, or your products and services.
