Autoresponders & Bulk Emailers

One of the difficult tasks in 2011 is finding a good autoresponder that allows you to use the leads you've purchased, being able to import your leads, and knowing they are being delivered.

The other task is finding an autoresponder that is easy to learn for your downline to use too. We are constantly looking for email marketing solutions that meet these criteria.

Below are several autoresponders we recommend. These are autoresponders that our customers are using with great success.

There are several autoresponders available to you, but not all of them are compatible with many network mareketer's needs. We have two main categories of autorespnders we recommend below:

1. "Closed loop" autoresponders - A closed loop system basically requires you to generate your own leads through a lead capture page. A great idea if you are using a 2-step approach for email marketing.
2. Autoresponders that allow you to import leads - This is what you need if you purchase email leads to either send to your own lead capture page or to your company's business opportunity site.

A very popular approach is a 2-step autoresponder system — AR #1 is used as a "bulk email autoresponder" to send bulk email leads to your own landing page (See MLM Landing Pages for more information). The lead capture page uses AR #2, a closed loop autorepsonder. In fact, this is what we recommend. You are basically building your own list, and in essence, generating your own leads.

1) Aweber - If you generate your own leads or you use a 2 part email marketing system with a lead capture page, there is no better autoresponder than Aweber. We use this for our web sites and our newsletters. We consistently get a 98 – 99 percent deliverability rate. I have personally been using Aweber for 10+ years, and there is no other autoresponder that I could or would recommend higher.

Aweber is one of the oldest autoresponders on the Internet, as well as one of the most progressive and technologicially advanced AR's available. Furthermore, they are whitelisted with more ISP's, meaning your emails will get delivered to more Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN, GMail, Earthlink, and AOL email addresses than anybody else. If you neglect this, you are losing out on at least 60% – 75% of all email addresses.

Recommended AutoResponders For Importing Leads

If you've purchased leads you want to import, here are our top recommendations for 2011. I have tried to include comments that will let you know why it is ranked where it is ranked. No autoresponder service is going to be perfect, so you have to decide if deliverability rates are more important than quantity, or other factors.

There is currently one autoresponder and two bulk email programs that we are recommending. We have recently stopped recommending a couple of others due to complete lack of support, too much down time, very low delivery, or several other factors.

1) Fire Reply - Firereply is one of the last and best true autoresponders where you can upload an opt-in list you've purchased AND send out a series of pre-loaded messages to your prospects. They have been around for a few years now, and we have had dozens and dozens of our customers who have used them. It is a good autoresponder if you are going to send 100,000 to 500,000 emails per month.

The have good online training videos to help you get your account set up, how to import your leads, and how to input your messages and set them to go out at different intervals. I think you'll like FireReply if you don't need your hand held with every step. As I mentioned, they have been around a few years now, so they have ironed out many of the wrinkles and know how to work with the different ISP's to keep delivery rates higher. This is a great mlm autoresponder to drive traffic to your landing page, especially if you are using a 2-step sutoresonder system.

2) JMailerPro - JMailerPro is another good bulk email system. You can import and use your own leads, you get your own server, IP address, and domain name, and the cost of the system is less than using a 3rd party system. Please note: There is a limited number of licenses for their bulk emailer, so at the time you go to the above link, they could be sold out.

You will get higher deliveability rates and more emails delivered to the prospect's inbox, rather than their bulk email folder, because you are using your own domain and IP address. Don't be intimidated about having your own server. It's very easy and JMailerPro can even set it up for you. All the steps are laid out on their website. But, basically you will need:

1. Get a domain name. I highly recommend getting a .com domain. Don't mess with the .biz, .info, or whatever else. A .com domain is more trusted and could improve your deliverability. You can register your domain when you are buying your web host. Or you can go register one at Namecheap.com, 1and1.com, or wherever. I would stay away from GoDaddy since you are going to be doing email marketing.
2. Get your web host package from Host Gator. Click on the button that says "Web Hosting Plans" and then you will need to choose the "Baby Plan." You'll see it is only $7.95 per month. JMailerPro recommends you use the Host Gator Coupon Code: hgc25 to get your first month for a penny.
3. Buy your JMailerPro license. You can set it all up yourself, or pay $10 more to have them do it. I highly recommend letting them do it.

That's it. You're ready to roll!

But, let me give you my top reason why I like JMailerPro. The owners, Mark and Joseph, are two guys who will bend over backwards to help you out. There isn't any better customer service than what you get with these guys.

3) Push Button Emailer - This is a great bulk emailer system. I have been following the owner of PBE, Dennis Bayne, for several years now and have been impressed by two things: a) he is consistent and you don't have to worry about whether he will be around tomorrow or not, and b) he offers excellent training in the email marketing industry. You will never be short of support or training.

Push Button emailer has several features that you would otherwise have to manually do or pay for other services. There is a global remove list that will virtually eliminate getting caught in spam traps, spam checker to help you get more emails delivered, list split-tester, email templates, and more. It is a great marketing tool that I recommend. It is currently about $40 per month. Eliminating the spam traps is worth much more than that (and if you've ever been nailed by one, you know what I mean).

There are no less than 24 testimonies on the home page of Push Button Emailer (go visit their site and read through them). These are top marketers who are getting results from their email marketing campaigns. Another primary reason I like Push Button Emailer is that it is something you can easily refer to your downline and they can get hooked up easily. You don't have to worry if they are a techie or not. This is very user-friendly.

It should be noted that Push Button Emailer and JMailerPro are bulk emailers. While I catagorize them under the broader heading of "autoresponders," they are in fact bulk emailers.
